It feels very weird and awful to be in the thick of book promotion while witnessing the atrocities of Israeli occupation. I am told that I need to maintain a, “HEY! LOOK AT ME!” type of energy so more folks will buy my book. I truly think it’s important for us to center the events that are happening right now as we remain committed to justice, peace, and collective liberation. It is important that I point you in directions where you can financially support the relief efforts in Gaza. Please consider donating funds to NGOs on the ground in Gaza helping Palestinians. And please (if you live in the United States) call your local Senators to demand a ceasefire.
