Liberationist Creed

because the Nicene Creed just ain't cuttin it

I believe in the Mystery
the Almighty Love
the Creator of all seen and unseen
intimately intertwined with all known and unknown

I believe all things were created by the Mystery
& our distance from the Divine developed their ache for closeness
thus, Mystery returned to us as human beings
healing hearts that were broken by violent empires,
restoring consent, building communities of aid
seeing our trauma and healing our wounds
