Now that The Hero and the Whore is out in the world I am feeling a very different kind of satisfied and an odd sense of happily bone-tired. I am thankful to everyone who pre-ordered, read (and are still reading!) the book, partied with me at the book launch party, and to those who continue to help me promote it. The Hero and the Whore is a book about the ways we heal in community. You were all a big part of the process. I’m thankful to have you in this substack subscription community.

I’m reveling in these snapshots of joy that were taken at my book launch party at The Hangout in Long Beach curated by my dear friends at Empower Showers. My book launch party was a private and intimate celebration that I will always hold close to my heart. I don’t yet want to share all the details with the world, but I’m happy to share these pictures of me sharing time and space with my closest loved ones and friends.
